Which devices can I use?

You can use it on iPhone / iPad running iOS 13 or later, and smartphones / tablets running Android 7.0 or later. We do not offer a web browser version.

Do I need to create an account?

You can use the app without an account on first launch. If you sign in with your Google or Apple account, you can sync your progress, favorites, and subscription across multiple devices.

Can I use it offline?

The travel phrase collection is available offline (227 built-in phrases with audio). AI conversation, writing practice, and course lessons require an internet connection.

Features & Usage

Voice recognition isn't working well

Please make sure microphone permission is enabled. Go to Settings app → Voyaglish → turn Microphone ON. If recognition is still unstable, try speaking clearly in a quiet place and finish the entire sentence before releasing the button.

How do I use the "Hint" button?

Tap "Hint" on the conversation screen to see two examples: a simple one and a natural one. Use them as a reference when you get stuck.

What's the difference between Courses and Situations?

Situations (AI Conversation tab) are free-form role-plays. You can talk as you like until you reach a set goal. Courses (Course tab) are structured lessons combining listening, memorization, dictation, pronunciation scoring, and more, covering travel English and grammar courses.

How do I use the pronunciation scoring?

In Speak lessons within courses, you'll see a score from Azure pronunciation assessment after you speak. Tap any word below 70 to re-record just that word. Tap again to see phoneme-level advice.

Billing & Subscription

What's available for free?

You can use AI conversation, writing practice, and course lessons a few times per day for free. The phrase collection is completely free and unlimited.

How do I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel from the Apple App Store or Google Play subscription management screen. You cannot cancel directly from the app. After canceling, you'll still have access to premium features until the end of the current period.

Will my subscription transfer if I change devices?

As long as you sign in with the same Apple ID or Google account, your subscription will automatically transfer. If you use a different account, sign in with the same account in the app to link it.

Data & Account

How do I transfer data when changing devices?

Sign in with the same Google or Apple account on both your old and new devices, and your progress, favorites, and history will automatically sync. On your new device's first launch, there's a "Sign in if you already have an account" button on the first onboarding screen.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Settings → "Delete Account." Deleting your account will also delete all your cloud data (progress, favorites, history, profile). This action cannot be undone.

What happens to my data after canceling or deleting my account?

Canceling your subscription alone will not delete your account or data. Account deletion will erase your cloud data. Local data on your device will remain until you uninstall the app.

Go to Settings in the app → "Help & Contact" to reach our support email. It helps if you include steps to reproduce, device model, and OS version.
